As Umpfer-Wachbach Riedel- a part is the natural space Tauberlandpark in Baden-Württemberg referred to in whose territory the eponymous watercourses Umpfer and Wachbach lie. As Riedel is generally a center back between two valleys - in this case between Umpfer- and Wachbachtal - called.

Umpfer-Wachbach-Riedel is the natural space unit No. 129.0 of the main unit group Neckar- and Tauber-Gäuplatten . The Königheimer Tal , as sub-unit no. 129.01, is the only subdivision unit of Umpfer -Wachbach-Riedel in the very north of it, which is otherwise not subdivided into the second decimal place.
