The Freudenbacher Platte is a part of the Tauberland natural area in Baden-Württemberg , in the area of which the eponymous Creglingen district of Freudenbach is located. The Freudenbacher Platte , as a natural spatial unit No. 129.2 of the main unit group Neckar- and Tauber-Gäuplatten, has no further subdivision unit in the second decimal place.
The Freudenbacher Platte is located about five kilometers east of the main town of Creglingen near the border with Bavaria . It is about a five-kilometer wide flat ridge between the valleys of Tauber in the south and the right tributary of Steinach in the north. By the place Freudenbach, which is bounded on the west and east of larger forest land flowing Freudenbach to Steinach.
