It was removed before 1846 and archaeologically examined in the process. The objects found are now in the collection of the Archaeological State Museum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Schwerin .

location

The grave was on the Alt Pokrent field mark on the border with Neuendorf .

description

The facility had a burial chamber that was 7 feet long , 5 feet wide, and 3 feet high. The orientation is not recorded. The chamber consisted of several wall stones, the exact number of which was not noted, as well as three cap stones. The chamber is thus to be addressed as a large dolmen . An access with two steps (threshold stones?) Was discovered at the northeast corner. The spaces between the wall stones were filled with dry stone masonry made of small stone slabs. Small stones were piled around the chamber. The inside of the chamber was filled with earth. A chamber plaster was not found, nor were burial remains. The only additions were three Feuerstein - hatchets discovered: an incompletely preserved dickblattiges adze , a Flachbeil and a thick nackiges ax with hollow edge.
