geography
course
The Großwaldbach rises north of the Staufen in the so-called Großwald . It initially runs in a westerly direction and shortly before Adlgaß begins to flow approximately west-southwest. There he takes the Frillenseebach from the Frillensee from the left . From here he is initially very close to the TS 40 district road.
After more than half of its 7.2 km long way, it leaves the forest at the desert smell, then it crosses a meadow landscape in which there are some other wastelands and hamlets of Inzell. Close to the outdoor pool in Inzell , the Großwaldbach joins from the right with the noticeably shorter and also less watery Falkenseebach, ultimately coming from the south-southeast in an arc to the right, to the Roten Traun.
