Grzebienisko ( German 1887–1940 Kammthal , 1940–1945 Kammtal ) is a village in the municipality of Duszniki , Powiat Szamotulski , Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . It is located about 35 km west of the voivodeship capital Poznań and has about 650 inhabitants.

history

Kammthal belonged to Prussia from 1793 to 1920 and was part of the Samter district from 1818 . The village was in the area that returned to Poland in 1920 as a result of the Treaty of Versailles .

In Grzebienisko there is a primary and a high school as well as a preschool. There is also a fire brigade and a shooting club. The latter maintains close contacts with the shooting club in Faßberg , Lower Saxony. The economy is mainly characterized by agriculture. In addition to a state health center, there are two supermarkets and a pharmacy. In the center of the village is the old German cemetery on a hill. The rifle club also has a small museum with agricultural items from bygone times.
