Grzegorz Suchodolski

Grzegorz Suchodolski (born November 10, 1963 in Łuków , Poland ) is a Polish Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Siedlce .

Life

Grzegorz Suchodolski entered the seminary after graduating from high school and received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Siedlce through Bishop Jan Mazur on June 11, 1988 .

After ordination, he was chaplain in Łosice until 1990 and then studied in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University and then at the Angelicum , where he obtained his degree in Catholic social teaching in 1996 . After returning to his home diocese, he was diocesan director for university pastoral care until 2006 and director of the national office for World Youth Days until 2016 . From 2006 to 2010 he was also pastor in Kopcie . Since 2016 he was the cathedral priest at the cathedral of Siedlce. In addition, he is a member of the college of consultors , the priestly council and the cathedral chapter of the diocese of Siedlce.

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Mesarfelta and auxiliary bishop in Siedlce on April 16, 2020 . The Bishop of Siedlce, Kazimierz Gurda , donated him episcopal ordination on June 1 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio , and the Bishop of Radom , Henryk Tomasik .
