geography

Guidan Amoumoune is located in the Sahel . The neighboring communities are Bader Goula in the northwest, Tagriss in the northeast, Tchaké in the east, Attantané in the south and Kornaka in the west. The municipality is divided into 70 administrative villages, 147 hamlets and five camps. The main town of the rural community is the administrative village of Guidan Amoumoune.

history

Before the arrival of the French at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Guidan Amoumoune was part of the independent state of Gobir .
