Bader Goula is a rural community in the Dakoro Department in Niger .

geography

Bader Goula is located in the Sahel zone . The neighboring communities are Gadabédji in the north, Tagriss in the east, Guidan Amoumoune and Kornaka in the south and Birni Lallé and Roumbou I in the west. The municipality is divided into 93 administrative villages, four traditional villages, 57 hamlets, four camps and six water points. The main town of the rural municipality is the administrative village of Goula. The Tarka Valley runs through Bader Goula in an east-west direction .

history

Bader Goula was created as a merger of the Bader nomad camp with the village of Goula, which was founded as a base for the caravan trade to Agadez and Bilma . The French colonial administration established a canton in Bader Goula in 1947 . The rural community Bader Goula emerged from this canton in 2002 as part of a state-wide administrative reform.

population

At the 2001 census, Bader Goula had 45,142 inhabitants. At the 2012 census, the population was 68,203.

The community is located in a zone where agropastoralism is practiced.
