Guido Koçer (born September 15, 1988 in Worms ) is a German - Turkish professional footballer .
Career
The offensive player Koçer went through from 1998 the E-youth of the Odenwälder SV Seckach and from 2000 the D-youth of the Worms district club TuS Neuhausen . During his visits to his grandparents, who lived in Teterow in Mecklenburg , Koçer also watched isolated games of the then first division club FC Hansa Rostock , whereupon he moved to the Baltic city team as a C-youth after a trial training session in 2003. With these, Koçer became German vice- champion in 2005 as a B-youth under coach Thomas Finck . As a youth player, Koçer played 44 games for FC Hansa in the U-19 Bundesliga seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07 , in which he scored 24 goals.
For the 2007/08 season Koçer moved up to the men's division and initially belonged to the second representative of the Hanseatic League playing under Thomas Finck in the fourth-class Oberliga Nordost . With nine goals in 24 games, he then contributed to the team's qualification for the fourth-class regional league from the following season due to a league reform . Thus, Koçer recommended himself to participate in the training of the Rostock licensed team under Frank Pagelsdorf , but was again part of the reserve team in the regional league in 2008/09 . There Koçer developed to the goalscorer of his team, so that he was invited again to training with the first team from autumn 2008 and finally moved up nominally to the licensed team, which competed in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2008/09 season . On November 30, 2008 Koçer made his debut for the licensed team, which is now supervised by Dieter Eilts , in the 2nd Bundesliga and was also used in the following two games. After the winter break, he was then appointed to Turkey's U-21 team, for which he made his debut on February 10, 2009. In March 2009, however, he was released from gaming in Rostock.
In August 2009 Koçer found a new club in SV Babelsberg 03 , with whom he rose to the 3rd division after the 2009/10 season of the fourth-class regional league , to which he had contributed with a goal in 24 missions. In the following third division season 2010/11 Koçer ran in 35 of 38 games and contributed with six goals to the relegation of Babelsberg. This also attracted the interest of the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue , who signed Koçer for the 2011/12 season .
After three seasons in the Ore Mountains in which he made 81 appearances and 9 goals, he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee of around € 500,000 . For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the Turkish second division club Yeni Malatyaspor .
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division Giresunspor together with his two teammates Nemanja Tomić and Çağrı Bülbül . During the next winter break he moved on to league rivals Boluspor .
Conviction of a robbery
On December 22, 2011 Koçer was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment, suspended on probation, for “joint robbery with weapons”. He was accused of having scouted the Berlin "Casino 77" on April 8, 2011, which was then attacked by other members of the seven-person gang, including professional soccer player Süleyman Koç . Koçer had confessed to the fact.
