Gulariya is a city in western Terai in Nepal and the administrative seat of Bardiya District in Province No. 5 .
The city is about 3 km from the Indian border and 33 km west of Nepalganj . The Babai River flows through the city. The urban area covers 95.14 km².
There is a branch of Tribhuvan University ( Babai Campus ) in Gulariya .
