Gundis Zámbó (born June 5, 1966 in Gratwein , Styria , Austria ) is an actress and presenter .

Career

Gundis Zámbó grew up in Vechta in southern Oldenburg . Her mother is Austrian, her father is Hungarian. As a child she became a German citizen. Zámbó graduated from high school in Großburgwedel near Hanover in the summer of 1985 . She then attended an acting school in Los Angeles while working as a model. She then returned to Germany and trained as a state-certified foreign language correspondent in Hanover. She then worked as a voice actress .

In 1989 she got a permanent position as a presenter at the Bavarian private broadcaster Tele 5 . There she presented the children's format Bim Bam Bino and the clip show Please smile . She later switched to Sat.1 and moderated some quiz shows there. Between 1996 and 2000 Zámbó presented The Before and After Show on tm3 . From the 1990s on, she increasingly played smaller roles in crime series such as Derrick and Der Alte .

In 1996 she took over the management of an editorial department at ProSieben . In 1997 she founded her own production company and has since worked as an author, including for the Golf Journal .

In 2007 her autobiographical book My Secret Hunger was published. I had eating disorders and am cured , in which Zámbó first publicly reports on her illness from bulimia and her recovery.

In January 2009 she took part in the RTL show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! part.

For the September 2009 issue of Playboy , she was photographed naked.

In 2012 Zámbó completed an apprenticeship as a naturopath for psychotherapy at the Paracelsus School in Munich . She then completed an internship in a special clinic for eating disorders and has been working as a therapist in Munich since then.
