Gustavo Oscar Carrara (born May 24, 1973 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires .

Life

Gustavo Oscar Carrara received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires on October 24, 1998 through Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio SJ , later Pope Francis .

On November 20, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Thasbalta and auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires. The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mario Aurelio Cardinal Poli , donated him episcopal ordination on December 16 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Isidro , Óscar Vicente Ojea Quintana , the Rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina , Archbishop Víctor Manuel Fernández , and the Auxiliary Bishops Joaquín Mariano Sucunza and Ernesto Giobando SJ from Buenos Aires.
