Gutenthal is a district of the community -free municipality of Morbach in the Hunsrück in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Gutenthal has about 450 inhabitants (2019).

The branch church of the village is dedicated to St. Antonius .

The town's coat of arms shows an Antonius cross with two bells on the crossbar on a green background. A valley is indicated in silver in the base of the shield. The Antonius cross and the bells refer to Gutenthal's patron saint, Saint Antonius. The stylized valley takes up the place name.
