Hoxel
Hoxel is a district of the community -free municipality Morbach in the Hunsrück in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The place on the edge of the Idarwald is about 520 meters above sea level and has about 600 inhabitants (2019).
The Hoxeler Viaduct on the Hunsrückquerbahn is nearby .
In the Hoxel coat of arms , the red background is divided into the Latin letter "H" by a blue ploughshare on a silver square in the shield base and a green spruce on a silver square in the head. Spruce and plow symbolize forest and agriculture, the red »H« stands for the first letter of Hoxel.
