Bishop's throne
Bischofsdhron is a district of the community -free community Morbach in the Hunsrück in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The place has about 850 inhabitants (2019) and is located at the foot of the Idarwald . The young Dhron flows along the place.
The town's coat of arms shows a silver wave brook on a blue background in the base of the shield, above which there is a richly decorated, silver miter - the solemn headgear of the bishops. The wave brook symbolizes the throne, the miter refers to the influence of Baldwin of Luxembourg and the name of the place.
