Héctor Carrero (born April 3, 1991 ) is a Mexican ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Fundación Deportiva Talaveros Puebla in the Liga Mexicana Elite since 2013 .

Career

Héctor Carrero began his career with Lomas Verdes in Naucalpan de Juárez and then played for Galerias Reforma. When the semi-professional league Mexicana Elite was founded in 2010 , he moved to the Teotihuacan Priests , one of the four founding clubs of the league, with which he immediately became Mexican champions. In 2013 he went to Fundación Deportiva Talaveros Puebla .

International

At junior level Carrero played for Mexico at the U18 World Championships in 2007 in the Division II, in 2008 in the Division III and in 2009 again in the Division II and the U20 World Championships Division II in 2009 and Division III in 2011 , when he the best player his team was chosen.

With the men's national team , Carrero took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2011 , 2014 , 2015 and 2016 . He also took part in the Olympic qualification for the Games in Sochi 2014 , but the Mexican team was eliminated in the pre-qualification. In March 2014, he represented his colors at the Pan-American ice hockey tournament, in which the Mexican team won the silver medal.
