Héctor Ignacio Salah Zuleta (born December 24, 1942 in Bogotá ) is a Colombian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Riohacha .

Life

Héctor Ignacio Salah Zuleta was ordained a priest on December 8, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Girardota on February 21, 1998 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Paolo Romeo , on March 26 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Alberto Giraldo Jaramillo PSS , Archbishop of Medellín , and Flavio Calle Zapata , Bishop of Sonsón-Rionegro .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Riohacha on May 13, 2005. On April 22nd, 2020, Pope Francis accepted Héctor Ignacio Salah Zuleta's resignation due to reasons of age.
