Helio Paschoal

Hélio Paschoal CSS (born April 26, 1927 in Vargem Grande do Sul , São Paulo , Brazil ; † November 22, 2005 ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Livramento de Nossa Senhora .

Life

Hélio Paschoal joined the Congregation of Stigmatines at and received on 15 August 1951, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 29, 1967, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the first bishop of the diocese of Livramento de Nossa Senhora, established a month earlier . The bishop of Jaboticabal , José Varani , ordained him episcopal on June 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Caetité , José Pedro de Araújo Costa , and the Bishop of São João da Boa Vista , Tomás Vaquero .

On January 21, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
