Tomás Vaquero

Tomás Vaquero (born March 26, 1914 in Pirassununga , São Paulo , Brazil ; † August 2, 1992 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of São João da Boa Vista .

Life

Tomás Vaquero received on 12 December 1941, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 2, 1963, Pope Paul VI appointed him . appointed Bishop of the Diocese of São João da Boa Vista . The Archbishop of Campinas , Paulo de Tarso Campos , ordained him episcopal on August 15 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Agnelo Rossi , Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto , and José Varani , Bishop of Jaboticabal .

He took part in the second, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a Council Father.

On January 23, 1991, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
