The diocese Livramento de Nossa Senhora ( lat. : Dioecesis Liberationis Marianae ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Livramento de Nossa Senhora in the state of Bahia .

history

The diocese of Livramento de Nossa Senhora was founded on February 27, 1967 by Pope Paul VI. Erected from the cession of the diocese of Caetité and subordinated to the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia as a suffragan . On January 15, 2002, the diocese of Livramento de Nossa Senhora was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Vitória da Conquista as a suffragan.
