Career

Club career

Hüseyin Yoğurtçu started club football in the youth department of İnegölspor . Here he was discovered for the Turkish national youth teams and regularly appointed. As a result, the talent hunters from Gençlerbirliği Ankara noticed him and lured him into their youth department with a professional contract. After he was active exclusively for the youth or reserve team for three seasons, he was also able to train with the professionals in the 2000/01 season. He was also called up for some league games of the professionals in the squad and made his debut on February 4, 2001 in a league game against Adanaspor .

For the 2001/02 season he was awarded to the third division team Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ . Here he played one season continuously and was able to collect match practice in a professional league.

In the summer of 2002, his contract with Gençlerbirliği ran out and so he moved to the then second division Yozgatspor free of charge . The following seasons he played for various clubs in the lower Turkish professional leagues.

For the 2010/11 season, he agreed with the second division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . With this club reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig at the end of the season and thus the direct promotion to the Süper Lig .

After his contract was not extended, he initially remained without a club. He only agreed with Ankaraspor for the new season , but this club later announced that it would not participate in the league for the upcoming season and so Yoğurtçu later agreed with Adanaspor . After the pre-season camp at Adanaspor he was sorted out by coach Levent Eriş and a change was suggested to him.

So he dissolved his contract with Adanaspor and came to an agreement on the last day of the summer transfer period with Süper Lig relegated Kasımpaşa Istanbul . Here he is only active for the reserve team.

After his one-year contract with Kasımpaşa had expired at the end of the season, he moved to his former club for the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor . During the league game of the 12th matchday against Torku Konyaspor Yoğurtçu pulled an injury and had to miss the rest of the season due to injury. In April it was announced that he could not continue his career. At the end of the season, he became champions of the TFF 1st Lig with his club .

In the summer of 2013 he returned to professional football and signed a two-year contract with the third division club Inegölspor, the club where he started club football.
