particularities

The HTC One S is a smartphone from HTC that was released on April 2, 2012.

Furnishing

It has a 1.5 gigahertz dual-core processor and an 8.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, intelligent LED flash and BSI sensor (for better recordings in poor lighting conditions). The screen diagonal is 4.3 inches (~ 10.9 cm) with a screen resolution of 540 × 960 pixels. The operating system is Android , with the user interface HTC Sense 4.1. The One S has an 8-megapixel camera with an intelligent LED flash and BSI sensor, with which videos can also be made in HD quality (1080p). A VGA front camera (0.3 megapixel) on the front of the HTC One S enables video calls.

HTC One S C2

In June 2012, HTC introduced a newer model of the One S called the One S C2. It is the same as the HTC One S except for the processor. While a Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm works in the normal One S, the older version of this processor, the Snapdragon S3, is used in the One S C2. Since this is not as advanced in development as the Snapdragon S4, its clock frequency was increased to 1.7 gigahertz. Nevertheless, the C2 variant is inferior to the C1 variant by 15-25 percent in benchmarks.
