The municipality of Hadsund is located in the north of Denmark in the Mariagerfjord municipality . Until the local reform of 1970 it belonged to Harde Hindsted Herred in Ålborg Office , then to Hadsund Municipality in North Jyllands Office .

Attractions
- The Hadsund Kirke (Hadsund Church) belongs to the diocese of Aalborg . It was built in 1897/98 according to plans by the architect Claudius August Wiinholt from Viborg and inaugurated on August 14, 1898. The carillon, which can be heard daily, was inaugurated on January 19, 1992 and consists of 26 bells.
