Haiyan (Haibei)
Haiyan (海晏 县; Pinyin : Hǎiyàn Xiàn) is a district of the Haibei Autonomous District of the Tibetans in the northeast of the Chinese province of Qinghai . He is to be assigned to the Tibetan cultural region Amdo . Its main places are the large communities of Sanjiaocheng (三角 城镇) and Xihai (西海 镇). It has an area of 4,348 km² and has about 30,000 inhabitants.
The sites of the ruined city of Xihai Prefecture ( Xihai jun gucheng yizhi ) and China's first nuclear weapons research station ( Di-yi ge hewuqi yanzhi jidi jiuzhi ) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

At the municipality level, the district consists of two large municipalities and five municipalities (two of which are Mongolian nationalities ). These are ( pinyin / chin.):
