Haizhu
Haizhu ( Chinese 海珠區 / 海珠区 , Pinyin Hǎizhū Qū ) is a municipality in the Chinese city of Guangzhou . It is located south of the Pearl River and has an area of 102 km². In 2001 it had about 820,000 inhabitants.

Infrastructure
Guangzhou Metro Line 2 goes through Haizhu. Your final stop in Pazhou is also in Haizhu.
The Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Haizhu . It was built a few years after the turn of the millennium and is 10.5 km² in size. It is one of the two places in Guangzhou where the Chinese Export Commodities Fair (also Canton Fair ) takes place.
education
Haizhu is home to the Sun Yat-sen University and the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy . The former is one of the ten best universities in the People's Republic of China .
Attractions
The Former Seat of the Generalissimo of the Military Government (孫中山 大元帥 府 紀念館) in Haizhu is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
