Hakirchen is a district of the municipality of Laberweinting in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

Hakirchen is located seven kilometers south of Laberweinting on the Asbach river, seven kilometers east of Mallersdorf and seven kilometers northeast of Bayerbach . The hamlet consists of two courtyards.
history
The first written mention of Hakirchen can be found in the visitation protocol of Regensburg from 1526. The place was then called Khirchaschpach. In the topography of Philipp Apian from 1563 on page 211, the place is mentioned as Kirchasch. The name refers to a church location. In fact, the church of St. John the Elder stood here until 1873. Baptist. Due to dilapidation, a new church was built in the center of Asbach in the same year.
On September 10, 1845, the towns of Asbach with Hakirchen, Eckenthal and Leitersdorf applied to the Mallersdorf royal district court to form an independent community. (H St AM MI nu 54 262)
Until 1970 Hakirchen belonged to the municipality of Asbach. In 1970 the community of Asbach voluntarily joined the community of Hofkirchen. Until the administrative reform was Asbach a district of the then independent municipality of Hofkirchen in 1972 resolved district Mallersdorf . The last mayor of Asbach was Alfons Stadler, Leitersdorf. († November 7, 1989).
