history
Traubach belonged to a branch of the Counts of Kirchberg in the 12th century . In 1165, a document from the Mallersdorf monastery named Adalbert Graf von Kirchberg zu Eitting, who founded the line of the Counts of Kirchberg-Traubach. The separation of the place Traubach into Holztraubach and Grafentraubach probably took place at the beginning of the 14th century.
The Hofmark Grafentraubach in the Kirchberg court initially remained closely connected to the Hofmark Holztraubach, was administered by carers and was particularly important as a parish seat. In the 15th and 16th centuries Grafentraubach belonged to the Rains von Rain . In 1573 Ursula, the minor daughter of Hans Joachim von Rain, who died in 1569, married Paul von Leiblfing , which marked the beginning of the Leiblfinger rule on Grafentraubach.
Grafentraubach fell through inheritance in 1659 as a dowry from Anna Maria von Haimhausen to her husband Phillip Jakob von Ginsheim. In 1689 Maximilian Phillip von Ginsheim (Ginsheimb) was lord of Grafentraubach. On March 10, 1749, Imperial Count Joseph Franz Maria von Seinsheim acquired the Grafentraubach, Graßlfing and Hofkirchen court brands . Hofkirchen was still considered an independent Hofmark in the conscription of 1752, but was then fully integrated into Hofmark Grafentraubach in the Hofmark investment book of 1760.
The Grafentraubach community, which was established at the beginning of the 19th century, belonged to the Pfaffenberg district court, renamed Mallersdorf district court in 1840, and finally to the district office and district of Mallersdorf . It was incorporated into the municipality of Laberweinting on January 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
