Haader is a part of the municipality of Laberweinting and Pfarrdorf in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

location

Haader is located about two and a half kilometers southeast of Laberweinting and eight kilometers east of Mallersdorf .

history

In 1139, a document from Pope Innocent II documents the place Haader in a document that puts the Mallersdorf monastery and all rights of possessions in "Hadare" under his protection. Until the regional reform, the place Haader was an independent municipality in the Mallersdorf district, which was dissolved in 1972 . On May 1, 1978 Haader was incorporated into Laberweinting in the Straubing-Bogen district.

Haader today

In January 2012, the core town of Haader consisted of 24 houses and properties with a total of 62 inhabitants and is characterized by agriculture.

Pilgrimage Haader

The story of Haader is inextricably linked with that of the Haader charity and the pilgrimage to “Our Lady of Haader”. There was already a church here in 1362. The current church with the patronage of Pauli Conversion was rebuilt in 1750. The discovery of a carved figure of Mary on October 3, 1813 gave rise to the pilgrimage. In the course of the year a pleasantly large number of believers come here with various concerns and concerns. Every 13th of the month, Fatima Day is celebrated with an evening service. The extension of the Via Nova pilgrimage route from Parkstetten to Pfaffenberg has been through the Marian pilgrimage site of Haader since 2004.
