Halfen Dombach is a district in the Sand district of Bergisch Gladbach .

history

The Halfen Dombach farm originated from a medieval settlement. The location is in Urkataster given as to the old way of sand to homes Dombach and Halfen Dombach. The farm was created together with the manor Dombach as a settlement unit and formed the adjacent farm yard of the manor. The tenant was called Halfe or Halfen because he had to deliver half of his income to the manor. The manor Dombach is already documented for the middle of the 13th century.

Monument preservation

The houses Dombach 1 and 2 are listed under 75 and 76 in the list of architectural monuments in Bergisch Gladbach since 1985 as an architectural monument.
