Extraction and presentation

Halfenprox can be obtained by reacting 2- (4-bromodifluoromethoxyphenyl) -2-methylpropanol and 3-chloromethyldiphenyl ether.

Halfenprox is used as an insecticide and acaricide .

Admission

The active ingredient Halfenprox is not approved for use in plant protection products in the European Union . In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
