Halina Karnazewitsch ( Belarusian Галіна Карнацэвіч , English transcription Halina Karnatsevich, née Baruk ; born November 2, 1969 ) is a Belarusian marathon runner .

In 1996 she won the Wroclaw Marathon in 2:39:44 h, and in 1998 she was sixth in the Hamburg Marathon in 2:35:40 h and came 37th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Uster . In 1999 she won the Enschede Marathon in 2:37:35 h and in 2000 the San Diego Marathon in 2:44:04 h.

In 2003 she finished fourth in the La Rochelle Marathon , and in 2004 she won the Wroclaw Marathon with a course record of 2:37:27 h, the Quad Cities Marathon in 2:36:26 h, and the La Rochelle Marathon in 2nd : 39: 24h and finished fifth in Grandma's Marathon .

In 2005 she finished second in the Austin Marathon , won the Dębno Marathon in 2:39:53 h and the Grandma's Marathon in 2:28:43 h, and was twelfth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki with her personal best of 2:27 : 2pm and 8pm at the Las Vegas Marathon .

In 2006 she won the Belgrade Marathon in 2:34:35 h. As the first place winner at the Grandma's Marathon , she was tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol during the subsequent doping control and was disqualified for this violation of the doping regulations and suspended for two years.
