Ascent

The promotion rounds took place in Hamburg (north) and in Stuttgart (south). The game was no longer a simple round of everyone against everyone , but in a knockout system . As before, the three best placed in Regionalliga North (N), the best placed in Regionalliga East (O), the two best placed in Regionalliga South (S) and the two best placed in Regionalliga West (W) were qualified.
