The 2017/18 indoor season began on November 26th, 2017. The double finals for women and men will take place on February 3rd and 4th, 2018 in the SCHARRena in Stuttgart .

Ascent

The champions of the regional leagues north, east, south and west are promoted to the Bundesliga. If this is a second team, the right of promotion goes to the next team.

Newcomers for the 2018/19 season were: Bremen HC in the north, Feudenheimer HC in the south, THV in the west and TC Blau Weiß in the east .
