The women's indoor season began on November 11, 2011 and ended on January 22, 2012. For the first time in the history of the German Hockey Championships , a club, Rot-Weiss Köln , won both indoor titles in one season: the women's and the Gentlemen .

Finals

The final round of the last four took place on January 21 and 22, 2012 together with the men in the Horst Korber sports center in Berlin . The game for third place, which had not been played in joint finals for women and men in previous years, was removed from the rules in August 2011.
