Hamza Driouch gained his first experience in international championships at the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where he finished fourth over 800 meters. At the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi he won the silver medal over 800 meters and reached the semi-finals at the Junior World Championships in Moncton, Canada . In 2011 he finished fourth at the World Youth Championships in Lille and qualified over 1500 meters for the World Championships in Daegu , where he was eliminated in the first round. He also won the silver medal in the 1500-meter run at the Pan-Arab Championships in Doha . In 2012 he won the gold medal over 1500 meters and silver over 800 meters at the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo and then won the gold medal over 1500 meters at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona .
