Men's Handball Asian Championship

The men's handball Asian Championship is an Asian indoor handball competition that has been held at regular intervals since 1977 and in even years since 2000. In the tournament, the Asian champions will be determined among the Asian men's national handball teams . In addition, the top three will qualify for the next handball world championship .

The first Asian Cup took place in Kuwait in 1977 , and the tournament has been held 17 times so far, most recently in Bahrain in 2016 . The record winner with nine successes is the South Korean men's national handball team , which is also the reigning Asian champion.
