United States Department of Commerce and Labor

The trade and United States Department of Labor (English United States Department of Commerce and Labor ) was a short-lived Ministry of Government of the United States . It was located in the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington, DC and was founded on February 14, 1903 and renamed the United States Department of Commerce on March 4, 1913 . Its offices and agencies, specializing in the labor market, were transferred to the new United States Department of Labor .

The department was led by the US Secretary of Commerce and Labor.
