Hani Albader is an American DJ from New York City . His music can be assigned to house . He managed to celebrate success in both the underground and the mainstream .

Career

Albader began his career as a disc jockey at the age of 15 . He later became a music producer for Underground - Acid House , in 1993 for Carl Craig's label ( Planet-e ) and in 1994 for Deep Dish's label ( Yoshitoshi ). He began his remixer career by remixing songs for artists such as Deee-Lite , Repercussions, and Urban Soul .

Albader is a trained sound engineer and worked for a while at Bass Hit Studios in New York City , where he was allowed to work with famous dance musicians such as Masters At Work , Roger Sanchez and Danny Tenaglia . From the start he remixed songs he liked for his own delight. He then sent these remixes to the original publishers. This is how major labels became aware of him. He remixed many songs for world stars, such as Michael Jackson's Earth Song and Stranger in Moscow , to be heard on the album Blood on the Dance Floor - HIStory in the Mix (one of the most commercially successful remix albums of all time).

In the summer of 1996 he remixed the club hit Soul to Bare for Joi Cardwell . He also remixed for Jean Michel Jarre Oxygène 8 . Albader also worked on a remix project with Frankie Knuckles . Knuckles said of Albader, “He's a person who really impressed me. It's a certain sound in what he's doing that I think is really, really interesting. I like the touch that he has. "In 1997 he remixed Jay-Z Can not Knock The Hustle , One More Night of Amber , Elton John's Rocket Man and Brown Acid ( Pink Floyd vs. Underworld ).

In 1998 he was commissioned by Jeff Wayne ( Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds ) to remix Eve of the War . In 1999 he had a number one hit on Billboard Magazine's "Hot Dance Club Play" chart with his single Baby Wants to Ride . That same year he also did Drugs Are Bad ... Mmmkay? recorded, a tribute to the satirical animation series South Park . His mashup Cry Me a River vs. Let It Whip was played up and down by many US radio stations.

In 2004 he achieved a number one hit on the "Hot Dance Club Play" charts with the remixes of Alicia Keys ' Diary . The next year his remix of Lose Control (originally by Missy Elliott feat. Ciara & Fatman Scoop ) reached number 5 on the “Hot Dance Club Play” charts.

In 2006 Albader founded the label Soterios , which only publishes his music. His most recent remixes were My Love by Justin Timberlake and Hurt by Christina Aguilera .
