Hans-Günther Döring

Hans-Günther Döring (* 1962 in Hermannsburg ) is a German author and illustrator .

Act

After training as a decorator , Hans-Günther Döring studied communication design and illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences . Immediately after obtaining his diploma, he started working as a “freelance” author and illustrator in 1991. Since then he has published numerous books in multiple editions and translations, one of which was awarded the 2005 environmental prize for children's and youth literature .

Hans-Günther Döring lives with his family near Hamburg and teaches figure drawing to young people and adults there.
