Hans-Gerd Florian (born October 30, 1955 ) is a former German soccer player who played an international match in the German amateur soccer team in the 1975/76 season . From 1975 to 1978 Florian played a total of 64 second division games and scored three goals in the 2nd Bundesliga for the clubs Schwarz-Weiß Essen and SG Union Solingen .

career

The young player Hans-Gerd Florian won the West German A-Youth Cup with the A-Youth from ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen in 1974. On March 3, 1974, he was substituted on by coach Peter Velhorn in the second -rate regional football league West in a 5-2 home win against SpVgg Erkenschwick in the 70th minute for Wolfgang Lausen. In the 1974/75 season Florian reached the runner -up with the ETB amateurs in the Association League Niederrhein and took part in the competition for the German amateur soccer championship in 1975 with fellow players such as Jürgen Elm , Thomas Hörster and Uwe Reinders under coach Dieter Tartemann . Coach Hubert Schieth brought the amateur to five appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga North in January and February 1975. Florian came in the games against RW Oberhausen (2: 1), VfL Wolfsburg (1: 4), SpVgg Erkenschwick (3: 1), SG Wattenscheid 09 (0: 3) and in the 1: 5 away defeat at FC St. Pauli on duty. Other players were actors such as Hans Wulf (goalkeeper), Franz-Josef Laufer , Holger Trimhold , Horst Gecks , Hans Fritsche and Herbert Bals . In the 1975/76 season, SWE played in the top group for a long time and finished in seventh place at the end of the round, only two more second division appearances against St. Pauli (1: 2) and Tennis Borussia Berlin (1: 4) were added. Nevertheless, on March 9, 1976 he was appointed to the amateur national team of the DFB at the international match in Offenburg against Austria. In the 1-0 success of the German amateur team, he was substituted on for Matthias Herget in the team led by captain Egon Schmitt . For the 1976/77 season Florian moved to the blue and yellow of Union Solingen. The newcomer from Essen experienced a round of relegation battle at the club running in the Ohligser Stadium on Hermann-Löns-Weg . First under coach Norbert Wagner (until November 1976), then under Hermann Eppenhoff , who had to be replaced by player- coach Otto Luttrop after illness in March 1977 . Florian made 23 appearances in the second division alongside fellow players like Dirk Hupe , Karlheinz Höfer , Werner Lenz , Hans-Günther Plücken and Otto Luttrop and scored one goal for Solingen. Union finished 19th with 20:56 points and would have been relegated to the amateur camp. However, with the withdrawal of the Bonner SC's license and the waiver of Göttingen 05 and Wacker 04 Berlin, Solingen was rescued at the “Green Table”.

Florian returned to his hometown club SW Essen after a year for the 1977/78 season. But at the Uhlenkrug were Hans Fritsche (Fortuna Cologne), Klaus Albert (Fortuna Cologne), Franz-Josef Laufer (Westfalia Herne), Herbert Zimmer (Fortuna Düsseldorf), Thomas Hörster (Bayer Leverkusen), Uwe Reinders (Werder Bremen) and Hans -Jürgen Zimmer (Wattenscheid 09) dropped out of so many top performers for financial reasons that simply nothing spoke for the survival of the black and white in the 2nd division. The former amateur trainer Dieter Tartemann made himself available for this almost impossible task. The result of the endeavor was then accordingly: In 38 rounds, SWE was able to win just four games and at least draw eleven matches. With 19-57 points, the black and white rose as bottom of the table (20th) from the 2nd Bundesliga. Florian had played in 34 league games and scored two goals. With the game on May 27, 1978, a 1: 2 away defeat against Bayer Leverkusen, Florian and Schwarz-Weiß Essen said goodbye to the 2nd Bundesliga.
