Hans-Gerd Schildt (born June 12, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Schildt played at Bremerhaven 93 until 1973 , from there he moved to the Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen . On the 1st match day of the 1973/74 season he made his debut in the Bundesliga when he was used by coach Josef Piontek in the away game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . Schildt scored the 1-0 lead in the 30th minute and thus his first Bundesliga goal. He played in his only Bundesliga season with Werder in 20 games and scored 3 goals. Schildt then moved to the newly created 2nd Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund . With Borussia he played in the northern season in the 2nd division. In his second year, the 1975/76 season at Borussia, Schildt was with his teammates such as - Horst Bertram , Helmut Nerlinger , Lothar Huber , Friedhelm Schwarze , Klaus Ackermann , Miroslav Votava , Hans-Werner Hartl , Egwin Wolf , Gerd Kasperski , Burkhard Sailor , Peter Geyer - runner-up behind Tennis Borussia Berlin . As a result of the runner-up, Borussia qualified for the relegation games for promotion to the Bundesliga against the runner-up in the southern season of the 2nd Bundesliga, 1. FC Nuremberg . Schildt was used by trainer Otto Rehhagel in both relegation games over the full length. the first leg was won 1-0, the second leg 3-2. Schildt rose with Borussia and played another year in the Bundesliga. He then moved to Arminia Bielefeld and played again in the 2nd Bundesliga North. With the Arminia he was instant champion and thus made it into the upper house of German football for the second time. Schildt stayed a year before he moved to Austria, Austria Salzburg . With Austria he played in the Austrian Bundesliga until 1985 . Schildt said goodbye in 1984/85 with relegation to the second division and ended his career as a professional player.

After the career

In 1985 Schildt came back to Germany, still coached SV Hohenlimburg in Hagen from 1986 to 1989 as a player- coach and rose with them to the state league. In 1989 Schildt finally ended his career and moved back to Northern Germany. He has been working for an insurance agency in Kiel since the mid-1990s. He also trains the traditional Holstein Kiel team .
