Hans-Jörg Kannegießer

Hans-Jörg Kannegießer (born December 9, 1943 in Meißen ; † October 4, 2010 in Chemnitz ) was a German engineer and politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 2004 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

After graduating from EOS in Meißen in 1962 , Hans-Jörg Kannegießer completed a skilled worker training as a mechanical engineer in Meißen. From 1963 to 1966 he studied at the technical college for heavy mechanical engineering specializing in heating, ventilation and cooling systems in Karl-Marx-Stadt . This was followed by distance learning in the energy conversion section at the TH Karl-Marx-Stadt and at the TU Dresden .

From 1967 to 1974 Kannegießer worked in Bitterfeld and Karl-Marx-Stadt as a project engineer at Gebr. Weißbach KG and between 1974 and 1989 as a rationalization engineer in the cosmetic engineering office. He volunteered as a board member in the Friends of the Blind Education Chemnitz-Altendorf . From 1998 Kannegießer held the office of state chairman of the VdK Saxony and was a member of the federal board of the social association VdK Germany . He was also a voluntary member of the Otto Perl Foundation .

Hans-Jörg Kannegießer was divorced and had three children.

Hans-Jörg Kannegießer joined the CDU in June 1988. In 1989 and 1990 he was the city's deputy mayor for energy, transport and communications. In 1990 he worked in the district administration authority of Karl-Marx-Stadt and was a member of the city council of Chemnitz from the same year. In October 1990, Kannegießer succeeded in entering the Saxon state parliament as a direct candidate in constituency 60 (Chemnitz II). He was a member of this for two further terms until 2004. In the 2nd electoral period he entered the state parliament via constituency 12 (Chemnitz I) and in the 3rd electoral period via the state list of the CDU Saxony . During the first electoral term, Kannegießer acted as chairman of the committee of rules of procedure and was a member of the committee for construction and transport. as well as in the 1st to 3rd electoral term in the Committee on Social Affairs, Health, Family and Women. In the 2nd and 3rd electoral periods, Kannegießer was a member of the Petitions Committee and in the 2nd electoral period he was deputy chairman of the Committee for Rules of Procedure and Immunity Matters. In 1991 and 1992 he was district chairman and member of the Chemnitz section board of the CDU Economic Council.
