Hans-Ludwig Zachert
Hans-Ludwig Zachert (born April 12, 1937 in Matsumoto , Japan ) is a German administrative lawyer and former President of the Federal Criminal Police Office .
Life
Hans-Ludwig Zachert was born as the son of the Japanologist Herbert Zachert . The family initially lived in Japan; When Zachert was ten years old, his family was forcibly repatriated and he came to Germany . He studied law in Berlin and Bonn . After completing his studies and training for the higher criminal police enforcement service , Zachert worked in various functions at the Federal Criminal Police Office, from 1990 to 1996 finally as its president . During his term of office, the GSG-9 operation in Bad Kleinen fell . After his resignation in 1996, Zachert was active as a publicist .
Since 1991 he has taught criminology for a few years at the University of Trier and was a member of the State Justice Examination Office in Mainz . Since 1995 he has also been an honorary professor at the University of Trier.
In his 2004 novel Operation Rubikon, Andreas Pflüger leaned the main character of the BKA President Wolf on Hans-Ludwig Zachert.
Zachert is married to the financial advisor and author Christel Zachert . The marriage resulted in two sons and a daughter. One of the sons is the business manager Matthias Zachert , CEO of Lanxess .
