Mostly Wilhelmshaven took part in the attack with Wilfried Klinge (34-19), Gummlich and Werner Schaar (34-15). On April 7, 1974 he was there when the Olympics achieved a 1-0 home win against champions and Bundesliga returners Eintracht Braunschweig. In the first year of the two-pronged 2.
