Hans Arsenovic

Hans Arsenovic , also Johann Arsenovic , (born March 12, 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician of the Greens . Since October 2019 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

Hans Arsenovic attended the Bundesgymnasium Ödenburgerstrasse in Vienna- Floridsdorf , where he graduated in 1986 . Then he completed the military service , later he became a militia officer in the armed forces (rank of first lieutenant ). He began studying economics at the Vienna University of Economics , completed an apprenticeship as a banker and was head of a Raiffeisenkasse in Lower Austria until 2000.

Arsenovic is an entrepreneur and founded the Sun Company Tanning Studios, of which he is the managing director. Since 2006 he has been under President Roman Gregory and, alongside Nurten Yılmaz, Vice President of the Wiener Viktoria sports club . He is the father of one son and lives in Vienna- Stammersdorf .

Since 2005 he has been the spokesman for Vienna's Green Economy and a member of the Vienna Tourism Commission . In the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, he has been vice-president and division representative of the trade division since 2015, and in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce he is a member of the division conference of the tourism and leisure sector and a member of the economic parliament. Since 2015 he has represented the Greens Vienna on the Presidium of the Vienna Business Agency . He was one of the initiators of the wealth tax referendum "Her mit dem Zaster!"

On October 25, 2019, in the 20th electoral term , he was sworn in as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council , where he acts as the Green Spokesperson for Business and Sport and is a member of the City Council Committee for Finance, Business, Digitization and International Affairs. He moved up for Faika El-Nagashi , who moved to the National Council.

As part of the coalition negotiations for the formation of a government in Austria in 2019 , he is negotiating in the main group Economy and Finance.
