Hans Bastian III. from Zehmen
Hans Bastian III. von Zehmen (born June 11, 1691 in Markersdorf ; † September 14, 1763 in Stauchitz ) was a royal Polish and Electoral Saxon court, justice and appeal councilor.
Live and act
Hans Bastian studied together with his brother Moritz Christoph from 1709 at the University of Alma mater Lipsiensis and from 1712 at the Friedrichs University in Halle law. Then both went to the older brother Hans Georg vZ in Dresden to do a retreat . He rode the royal train and got to know the court . As was customary at the time, he undertook a cavalier tour and traveled through Europe in 1714, z. B. to Holland, England and France. Hans Bastian III. became chamberlain of the Electress widow Anna Sophie of Denmark and Norway on November 4, 1716 and later entered the service of the Saxon Elector Friedrich August I ( August the Strong ). On August 13, 1717 he was cum voto et sessione (with seat and vote) Royal Polish and Electoral Saxon Court and Justice Council and on August 4, 1727 councilor at the Court of Appeal . Elector Friedrich August II. Granted him the farewell refused by his father (August the Strong) on July 17, 1733, but with the order to continue to take the hereditary homage in eleven offices. Hans Bastian III. von Zehmen came from the Meissen-Saxon family of von Zehmen with the parent company of the same name in Zehmen near Leipzig . He was also the heir and court lord of Weißig , Stauchitz and other manors. He had married Magdalene Elisabeth Bose on July 2, 1720. Together they had 21 children of whom 13 died early.
