Hans Heinrich Formann

Hans Heinrich Formann (born August 27, 1939 in Prague , † September 28, 2016 in Gunzenhausen ) was an Austrian writer and journalist .

Life

Hans Heinrich Formann was born in Prague in 1939 and came to Austria in 1945. After graduating from high school in Linz , he studied newspaper science and art history at the University of Vienna . Formann was editor of a Linz daily newspaper from 1963 to 1965. From 1965 to 1969 he was dramaturge at the State Theater Linz and at the Württemberg State Theaters in Stuttgart . Formann worked until 1980 as a socio-educational employee in the open youth work of the Stuttgart youth centers and as a cultural journalist and critic for the Stuttgarter Nachrichten , then as a freelance writer . Since 1980 he lived in Igelsbach , a district of the Absberg market ( Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district , Middle Franconia ). After a long illness, Hans Heinrich Formann died in Gunzenhausen in September 2016 and found his final resting place in a family grave in the Grinzinger Friedhof in Vienna .
