Hans Heinrich Muchow
Hans Heinrich Muchow (born April 3, 1900 in Hamburg ; † November 30, 1981 ) was a German psychologist and educator .
Life
After attending school, Muchow studied psychology and pedagogy and worked, among other things, as senior student adviser at a grammar school in Hamburg and as head of an educational counseling center.
As a psychologist, he dealt in particular with psychology, sexual maturity and the social structure of young people as well as questions about the spirit of the times , sexually transmitted diseases and gender education. He recorded this work and research results in numerous specialist books and articles in specialist journals . His most famous publications include:

Some works such as Sexualreife und Sozialstruktur der Jugend und Flageljahre also appeared in Portuguese and Spanish translations under the titles Juventude e desenvolvimento sexual em sociedade (1967) and La edad de las travesuras (1969).
Muchow was the younger brother of the psychologist Martha Muchow, who died in 1933 as a result of a suicide attempt . In 1935 he published their most important book, Der Lebensraum des Großstadtkindes . In 1949 he published another book by his sister Martha Muchow, From the World of the Child .
