Hans Ingwersen

Hans Ingwersen (born April 3, 1914 in Husum ; † November 9, 1992 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1971 to 1979 he was a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school and graduating from high school, Hans Ingwersen studied from 1934 to 1936 at the college for teacher training in Kiel . He was first a primary school teacher . From 1938 to 1939 he graduated from the Reich Academy for Physical Exercise in Berlin as a certified sports teacher . He then had to do military service and came to the Eastern Front as a soldier . Ingwersen was promoted to first lieutenant . After the war, he worked as a secondary school teacher from 1954 , and later became vice-principal at a secondary school in Westerland . He was married and had two children.

politics

Ingwersen joined the CDU in 1959 and was later temporarily deputy chairman of the CDU district association in North Friesland. In the Schleswig-Holstein state elections in 1971 and 1975 he was elected to the Kiel state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 4 (Südtondern). He was a member of parliament from May 24, 1971 to May 26, 1979. In the state parliament, he was active in the popular education committee.

Honors

In 1975 Ingwersen was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. Due to a generous donation from his widow, a sea ​​rescue boat of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked People was baptized in his name.
