Hans Jonsson

Hans Jönsson (born October 26, 1913 in Berlin , † September 30, 1993 in Wiesbaden ) was a German film , television and radio play composer and conductor .

He wrote the melodies for the well-known Paul Temple radio plays with René Deltgen and Paul Klinger , which were produced by WDR in the 1950s and 1960s , and was for the soundtrack of the legendary Durbridge films , the street sweeper thriller Das Halstuch (1962) and Tim Frazer (1963) and wrote the film music for the so-called " plush thrillers " (film adaptations of well-known detective stories from the 19th century) staged by director Wilhelm Semmelroth in the 1970s . The GEMA in Munich recorded over 100 film titles that come from his pen.

On behalf of ZDF Jönsson also created soundtracks for some reconstructed silent films , including works by Ernst Lubitsch and Harold Lloyd comedies Girl Shy ( Girl Shy , 1924) and Speedy ( Speedy , 1928).
